Xfinity Router Blinking Orange? Here’s Why!

The blinking of the orange light in Xfinity Modems or Routers occurs when the device is connecting at 10/100 Mbps. In such cases, even if you are connected to the wireless network, you can’t surf the internet. Another reason for such occurrences is the lack of communication between the router and the modem. It is because a factory reset erases all your previously set configuration and you need to reconfigure the device.

  3. Check if the Ethernet cable connecting the router and the modem is in proper condition. If it has any physical damages, replace the cable with a new one.
